FREYjA won Best Jazz Artist Category for the Song Bye Bye Angel at the MusicOz Awards 2002. The Awards were prestented by Australian star James Reyne in November, where FREYjA performed to an awestruck audience of 500 at the IPAC Theatre.
FREYjA also won Best Performers Category for her rendition of JJ Cale's song Magnolia. This appears on her second CD The Siren's Odyssey.
