Rafael ~ Flamenco Guitarist Flamenco has discovered an outstanding fresh talent in the hands of Rafael - the most exciting guitarist to come from Spain since Paco de Lucia. Hailing from Córdoba in the Flamenco heartland of Andalucia, he has created a unique yet instantly recognisable Flamenco sound by combining musical influences as diverse as Salsa, Django Reinhardt.

Red Gold Music Paul Cheneour's playing and compositions comprise a magical World Fusion that includes the spirit of Sufi Music "I was totally mesmerised" - The World Jazz Network.

It reminded us at Night Cafe of some of the work by Tony Scott on Music for Zen Meditation, we hope to be taking more of Pauls work ~ so watch this space!

Red Priest Lead by the inimitable Piers Adams, Red Priest is at the forefront of Early Music Ensembles in the UK today, and regularly tours not only in the UK, but also plays internationally - recent appearances include Prague International Early Music Festival and a two-week tour of the USA!

Roland from Poland Roland From Poland, aka London born, Bristol bred Tim Taylor is one half of former pioneering electronic duo Earth Beat Synphonic, signed to Warrior Records in 1990, attracting attention from 808 State, Gary Clail and John Peel, amongst others.

Katrina Rublowska Polish-Ukrainian-Irish-American Katrina Rublowska grew up in the suburbs of New York City. Thanks to her father's work at Columbia Records in the 60s, she was immersed in the political folk scene, as well as her family's traditional music.

Transplanted to England, Katrina cut her musical teeth at London's alternative venues including The Red and Green Umbrella Club and the 1990 Women in Music Festival. She became a resident performer at The Cellar Upstairs in Kentish Town. She was a founder member of women's acappella group "Smashing Dishes" whose top gigs included appearances the Oxford Women's Festival and at The Hackney Empire.

Katrina's recent work with pianist David Harrod and guitarist Steven Ksiezak has meant a new burst of songwriting and a series of successful performances in and around London at The Vortex, Bread and Roses, The Cellar and Barnet Folk Club.

7 Changes 7 Changes are a new and exciting international group, founded in Monterry, Mexico by UK flautist Paul Cheneuour and Mexican guitarist Oscar Gonzalez in 2003. Together with other top class musicians from Cuba and Mexico playing their original music with flavours from Jazz and Beyond.

Billy Thompson / Andy Maule BILLY THOMPSON (VIOLIN): Classically trained from the age of eight, Billy is proving to be one of the rising stars of the jazz violin. Since graduating from the Welsh College of Music and Drama in 1995, Billy has been a finalist in the UK's Young Jazz Musician of the Year competition in '96 and '98. Billy plays on Barbara Thompson's latest Paraphenalia CD entitled Shifting Sands.

ANDY MAULE (GUITAR): Self-taught guitarist Andy has been in the profession for around 15 years, during which time he has performed and recorded with many different artists around Europe.

Andy led the Jazz/Fusion outfit Strange Fruit, performing all-original music by Andy. They toured throughout the UK and Europe.

Together with Dafydd Lewis (double bass), Billy & Andy made their debut CD Iff & Butt. The trio performed to a packed audience at this year's Brecon Jazz Festival, the Fishguard Music Festival and the Birkenhead International Guitar Festival promoting the CD
