Achim and Paul were introduced to each other by Gregers Brinch, composer & musical director of Emerson College. After they had played together for twenty minutes, they decided to share Achim's solo concert the next day. Without any rehearsal, the concert became an event that made people say:
"Just magical! How can they play like that?"
"The whole room and everything was singing with their music - fantastic!"
"That was not a concert it was a spiritual experience."
Since that time they have played several more magical concerts and are touring the UK and the Continent together.
To hear the sound within the silence and the silence within the sound, to be still enough and listen so attentively that you enter the other world, then you are truly between silence.

Whether you need a short boost, or a long-term healing, simply play the CD. Lay back and enjoy the comfort this relaxing Reiki music provides.
Three ways to benefit from this CD
During your daily self-Reiki treatments, play the track relevant to your main self-healing requirements.

The system is a composite of mystical beliefs, astrology, interior design, wisdom and common sense which allows CHI [life force] to flow more freely within the environment, enhancing our well being positively.
Auspicious energy lines are called Sheng Chi or "Dragons' Cosmic Breath". Inauspicious energy lines are called Shar Chi or "Killing Breath". When being attacked by this negative energy it is known as "Poison Arrows". Feng Shui shows the way to mitigate negative energy and its effects.
The essential aspect of Feng Shui is the balance of Yin and Yang energies. In Chinese Taoism [The Way] comes everything that we can know. Everything can be divided into Heaven and Creation or Spirit and Matter which are represented by a square inside a circle.
The poems and stories we have chosen were spoken by Rumi spontaneously as he danced, or went about his business. In the original Persian they poured out of him, in perfect metre, each line rich with internal rhymes and meanings; worlds within worlds.
To speak his words is no easy matter, for Rumi was showing us a path, a way into the fire of what it is to be truly human, a fire we have barely tasted, the fire of love: It is in the search for that fire that we offer you this work.
We are profoundly indebted and grateful to the genius of Coleman Barks and John Moyne for the account of Rumi's life and the versions selected here. Without their work Rumi's words would not be reaching so many thousands of people.
The listener is co-creating the musical experience from a place deep within. Their partnership is the result of many years exploring diverse areas and styles of music both Eastern and Western. They were introduced to each other one evening by Ename Haque a film maker. Almost no words were spoken, they just played and played and played stunning all those who were present!
Together they are creating a music that is beyond the sum total of their experiences; it reaches directly into the heart and is without boundary. Everything in the Universe is in motion. The fundamental vibration at the root of all life is music.
Sound and music can lead us to resonate directly in tune with our environment, mind, body and spirit, unifying us once more! 'Listen for the sound within the silence and the silence within the sound', try to be still enough and hear so intently that you enter the longed for other world. When you fall into the place where there is only music then you truly DANCE IN THE FIRE.
"Everyone should hear this music!" "The room could not contain the sounds, the whole place was vibrating!!" "I have never been so transported, just amazingly fantastic!" "You cannot teach people to play like that. Their music is beyond anything I have ever experienced, I am so grateful to have heard it!" "Just awe-inspiring!" "East has now truly met West!
PAUL CHENEOUR'S new Solo Flute Album "The Time has Come" enters new and exciting musical territory. In a flight of sustained imagination, Paul Cheneour transports us into a mysterious and enchanting world where anything can happen. Paul's music is not only technically brilliant but also MYSTERIOUS, POIGNANT, PLAYFUL, URGENT and ABANDONED. As we listen we discover a complete musical language that defies all the categories and haunts both the mind and the soul." - Nick Nye.
"This is music that reaches into the listener and touches a primeval nerve in the psyche that is familiar, although never consciously heard before. Sheer brilliance." - Del St John
"As a former composer who for several years wrote extensively for the flute - including alto and bass - I fully appreciated the richness and development of ideas. Taken as a whole, each composition seems to anticipate the next to create a virtual symphony for solo flute. A truly remarkable achievement!" Randall McClellan, The Sonic Arts Music Foundation, NY, USA
Paul Cheneour plays with the sort of sound that only hours and hours of sustained sonority practice can produce...the variety and depths of colours that he produces are an example to us all.." Matthew Bright, Flutewise.
"This is a rare treat in truly solo flute music from the gifted Paul Cheneour...I can only recommend that you must have a copy of this inspired album" Geoffrey Totton, International Music Forum
