History

Earthstar formed in 1993 when Simon Wong and Ken Shaw met in a meditation centre in London. Their love and fascination for the world of music, meditation and conscious living was the seed of their creative relationship.

With Ken's background in community arts and music venue management and Simon's sound engineering and musical talent, they set out to effect positive change within the community on a practical level.

Along the way they undertook creative projects coordinating, collaborating, producing and performing in a variety of events across the UK and abroad;

that range from peace concerts, prison gigs, musical theatre and mind, body spirit events.

In 1997 they released a successful relaxation instrumental album worldwide called Jewel Purpose.

Since then they have been busy in and out of the studio honing their craft, creating a unique sound and working on their trilogy A Faith Odyssey inspired by their journey into inner space.
